Review: Macho Mucho Southwoods Mall

I'm a mum of three school-aged kids - two boys and one girl. As far as hair maintenance is concerned, my daughter Red, does not require a visit to the salon often because she's such a girly girl and wants to grow her hair for as long as she can.

My boys, however, frequent barbershop because the school strictly implements clean cut hairstyle for boys. Our barbershop of choice is Bruno's in Alabang Town Center since I have high regard for quality service.

Now, there's a newly opened mall near our place and our first born has never been, so we decided to drop by Southwoods Mall to give him a tour. Coincidentally, they are in dire need of a haircut.

We chanced upon this neat looking barbershop "Macho Mucho" and decided to give them a shot. 

The first thing that impressed me about this shop is that they have Style Guides both for Men and Kids. (Neither Red nor I got a cut, so I'm not sure if they have the same for Women.) My husband would often search for the hairstyle he likes from the internet and show it to his barber for reference, but in Macho Mucho, they would proactively hand you their own haircut Style Guide for you to choose from. Saves you time and data! :) 

Another thing I liked about Macho Mucho is their excellent Customer Service. Each and every staff was polite and attentive not just to their customers' needs, but even to their companions. They offered me coffee and gave Red a lollipop as they realised we would be waiting a while for our boys to finish grooming.

They won me over with this cup, haha!

It was also interesting that they shampooed my boys (despite how measly Pau's are haha) because Bruno's never did. They probably had that option but for an additional price. At Macho Mucho, shampooing the hair is a norm.

See, it's no secret that I adhere to anything nice and fancy as long as they're worth the buck, so aside from the cup of coffee (haha!), Macho Mucho won me over because of the shop's elegant ambiance and equipment and they're not even the most expensive barbershop in town!

Macho Mucho is not just for men, although my family would probably treat it as such; They also have a women's area (salon) which I couldn't take a photo of as there was a client seated and I didn't want to take a photo of a stranger, haha.

Before we left, the staff at the cashier/reception area, handed me two Junior Cards for Giann and Gavin. The Junior Card entitles them 10% off on services.

Oh yes, discount card! We're going to be regulars, I know it, haha!

My boys are easy on the eyes, but a good haircut always helps! :)

Thank you Macho Mucho, Southwoods Mall! You earned yourself patrons today. :)
